Renewable Energy for LIFE.

Which is better; Alternative Energy or Renewable Energy?

Alternative energy is the process which produces electricity without a fuel (i.e. petroleum) or a natural resource (i.e. sun, wind, water, or geothermal); the source could be an element (i.e. magnets).  In general, alternative energy devices are mechanical in nature and may require maintenance to ensure efficiency.

On the other hand, Renewable energy is the process which produces electricity from a natural resource (i.e. sun, wind, water, or geothermal). Not all renewable energy devices are mechanical and may require regular maintenance to ensure efficiency. Many renewable energy devices require a component to store the produced energy (i.e. batteries, capacitors, etc).

Generally, people do not consider the significance of batteries, especially as it relates to the environment.  Most people continue to use ‘acid lead’ batteries even after they learn about the environmental hazards.  Consequently, many State government agencies, impose a special tax on the sale and disposal of acid lead batteries.  Accordingly, in my environmentally conscientious opinion, responsible vendors and suppliers will not promote or sell acid lead batteries due to their hazardous condition to the environment. In consideration of the environment, Riser Products do not sell or promote acid lead batteries.

Currently, Riser Products, is featuring innovative products that combine the technology of alternative energy and the technology of renewable energy to produce an innovative product that is guaranteed to reduce utility bills; if used regularly; in the place of grid generated electricity. These innovative products are designed as off-grid solar applications, but are compatible with other renewable energy generators (i.e. wind turbines); which can benefit nearly everyone in the world, regardless of location because sun is the earth’s source of radiant energy and the wind is the earth’s source of natural movement of air.
